Refund Policy

At Advanced VLA, we aim to provide accurate and reliable vehicle history reports ("Reports"). This Refund Policy explains when refunds are and are not available. It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions.

1 Digital Product Notice

Reports are digital products delivered electronically. By purchasing a Report, you acknowledge that delivery begins immediately once your order is processed, and you expressly consent to this immediate delivery.

2 Reports Delivered Within the Specified Timeframe

If your Report has been successfully generated and delivered to you within the timeframe specified for your chosen package, you are not entitled to a refund, regardless of the outcome or content of the Report, except where Section 3 below applies.

This is because:
  • The Report is a digital product that is generated and delivered on request using real-time data lookups.
  • Once delivered, the service has been fully performed, and the informational value has already been provided to you.

3 Refunds for Errors in Your Report

If there is a genuine error in your Report (for example, incorrect data compilation, a technical fault causing inaccurate results, or a Report that does not match the vehicle registration you submitted), you are entitled to a full refund.

How it works:
  1. Contact us at support@advancedvla.uk with your order reference, vehicle registration number, and a description of the error.
  2. We will review your Report and the reported issue.
  3. If an error is confirmed, we will process your full refund within 2 working days of confirming the error.

4 Late or Non-Delivery

If your Report is not delivered within the specified timeframe for your chosen package due to a fault on our part, you are entitled to request a full refund or a re-run of your Report at no additional cost. Contact support@advancedvla.uk with your order details.

5 Incorrect Registration Number Entered by You

If you entered an incorrect vehicle registration number at checkout and a Report was generated and delivered against that (incorrect) registration, this does not count as an "error in the report" for the purposes of Section 3, and no refund will be issued. We recommend double-checking your registration number carefully before submitting your order.

6 How Refunds Are Processed

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Refunds are processed within 2 working days of approval; however, your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the funds in your account.
